I caught them too at stoke works junction My first time seeing them on a railtour in almost 2 months And their first tour since being repainted into large logo livery And look at 50007 it’s no longer got a disguised number and name 50034 furious on the side this time

Stunning work David, truly a perfect combination of both the locomotive, the light and of course the scenery. I’ve said before but you can almost smell the moorland grass and peat, and feel the gentle pull of the breeze.

Me and a friend once hiked up to this so remote signal box just after it had snowed. We built an 8' snowman, covered it in solar powered LED lights with a battery backup. It made the local newspapers and TV. They never did find out whodunnit.
